“I don’t know algebra. How can I teach it?”
“I’m afraid to teach high school!”
“What if I fail my child and she’s not ready for college.”
Sound familiar? For one reason or another, most homeschoolers tend to quit once they get to high school. We want you to know that the above sentences shouldn’t be a reason to quit homeschooling.
You need to sign up for a FREE MEMBERSHIP at HIPPO CAMPUS or KHAN ACADEMY! This is what I used for my high schooler. You could also use Hippocampus for your Middle Schooler and Khan Academy for ALL GRADES.
Don’t worry about it! Most high schoolers tend to do Dual Enrollment anyway. Not to mention all the online resources to teach Algebra 2 and Chemistry. Find a Homeschool Cooperative near you and see if they offer Science Labs for your high schooler.
You can do it! And we’re here to help!
Every college is different so find out what the requirements are to start their Dual Enrollment Program. It used to be you had to be at least 16 years old or 10th grade to start but now 13 and even 14 year olds are able to start Dual Enrollment as early as 9th grade. Most of the cost is covered by the Lottery Funding, so you do get a pretty good discount.
